As a Security Professional - Flex Transit Patrol Driver in Mc Calla, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned transportation locations. Your presence and routine patrols will help to maintain a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to those you encounter. This position involves driving responsibilities, allowing you to cover a variety of areas and support the security-related needs of the site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while on duty.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the transportation facilities and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards in and around the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents within the transportation environment.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and the client's representatives regarding incidents or issues as required.
• Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the transportation location.
• Complete all required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
