Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Desk Driver in Lexington Park, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a financial institution location, you will play a pivotal role in welcoming and assisting visitors, monitoring entrances, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This post requires both a valid driver's license and an armed guard license, as you may be responsible for driving and/or responding to armed situations as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity within the entry area.
• Document and report any unusual activities or security-related issues in accordance with site protocols.
• Coordinate with Allied Universal and/or client staff during emergencies or as required.
• Assist visitors and employees with questions or directions as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
