The company is currently seeking ​a Porter to become an integral part of our team! As a Porter , you’ll be an essential part of the team—responsible for moving vehicles, maintaining shop cleanliness, detailing vehicles, running errands, and supporting the technicians and service advisors. You’ll help ensure the shop looks great and runs efficiently, giving our customers and team a clean, safe, and professional environment. Speed and quality are very important. However, safety is our #1 priority. We're looking for someone that we can eventually train to be a master mechanic. As long as you demonstrate the proper effort, character, and skills, then we will absolutely train you for a higher position. 

Responsibilities:

• Move customer and shop vehicles safely around the facility and lot
• Keep shop and work areas clean and organized, including sweeping, trash removal, and pressure washing when needed
• Assist in preparing vehicles for delivery (e.g., light washing or vacuuming)
• Detailing rental vehicles
• Perform minor facility maintenance (e.g., changing light bulbs, checking fluids in rental cars)
• Support technicians by retrieving parts, tools, or materials
• Monitor and maintain supplies (soap, towels, fluids, etc.)
• Assist with customer drop-offs or pickups as needed
• Running errands
• Report any vehicle or facility issues to the shop manager immediately
• Assist in whatever is needed at the shop

​ Qualifications:

• Excellent attention to detail. Must be able to clean very well without being told to redo the task
• Strong work ethic
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet most of the day
• Teamworking Skills with a Positive Attitude
• Punctual
• Energetic
• Coachable
• Fast learner
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Good communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Cleanliness
• Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Spanish-speaking
• Previous experience in an auto shop or similar environment
• Strong Computer skills
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Body work/paint experience is a plus since we also do auto-body repair
