CBIZ Talent & Compensation Solutions is assisting our client in their search for a Bookkeeper in Westbury, NY . As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities for one of the client's divisions. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker with prior experience managing a high volume of accounting and clerical tasks, reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

This is a full time, on-site role in a small office setting.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable and Receivable with three-way matching.
• Prepare and disburse invoices to customers.
• Reconcile transactions with statements.
• Prepare daily deposits & assist with remote deposit capture.
• Enter & apply approved credits to customer accounts.
• Analyze transaction information and invoices to identify refunds, delinquent accounts, and insufficient payments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience with NetSuite preferred, but not required.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
• 2-year degree preferred.

Salary range: $65,000 to $80,000/year depending on experience.
